Saying the “current state of EDM is boring” isn’t special. It’s not a smart thing to say. Hardly insightful. Funny how you hear it from people who work in electronic music. If you find a trend monotonous or tired, just make good music. If it catches, it catches. You don’t have to point out the trends; it’s almost the nature of the genre.
