I remember getting in the elevator for my audition and there was a guy next to me who had a backpack full of props and wigs and things, and I went, ‘Oh, my God, that guy is so prepared, I have nothing, I have no props.’ And that was Andy Samberg. And Andy Samberg said he was looking at me going, ‘Oh, that guy has no props. He doesn’t need props.’ And that was the first time we met, was in that elevator.

Timberlake definitely got a gospel band to back him. They’re too damn tight- horns are hot, and voices are on point. The man’s musical director is top notch.

If the Alabama Shakes got an SNL spot a month or two before the Grammys, things may have gone differently.
They are doing so well, as usual.
Watch the press- they’re going to be enchanted with their performance tomorrow. The funny thing is they can’t say that the Shakes “came out of nowhere” with “another breakout performance on SNL” because they’ve been sleeping on them for a good two years now.

I know I’m late, but Jay Pharoah’s Katt Williams was wasted on the white audience at SNL that had no clue who Katt is.
It was like he was doing the set Katt is going to do in a year.

I can see that sketch in the College Humor office. Hardly Working would tear that bit up.

Odd that they would book it so far in advance but it was probably the only time to fit into his talk show schedule.
This will be his first time hosting. Michael Buble will be the episode’s musical guest.
Also because it will presumably be the Christmas episode, perhaps he’ll get the gang back together for “I Wish It Was Christmas Today.”
