Am I watching news coverage or is this fucking ESPN

I want to read some news. So every time I think I click a link, thinking I’m going to get a story, I don’t want to be led to some stupid video that tells me nothing. Let me read it, scan it, and move on. 

Hey CNN: stop telling me about your “death-defying drive inside Syria”. Tell me about those Syrians who have to drive through every day.

You can talk about how dangerous it is, but we need to know about the people more.

American commercial journalists love making it all about themselves.

Answer to #3: In 2008, CNN had their own anchors as holograms for the election coverage. They made a big deal out of it then, and made sure that America knew that holograms aren’t only for Makaveli- in fact, they did it first!

Also reminds me how bull***t CNN is. 
As I recall, it was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen on television.

Its their daily bit about the “African-American community”.
Today’s bit was on the low expectations teachers have for black students.

Serious stiff I can relate to, for sure. But.
I wasn’t really paying attention. I was eating an early lunch. I couldn’t hear much. I just watched the screen.
I could already see where they were going.

The kept playing clips of that charter school in New York- the all-boys charter that is oh so successful. The one where 100% go to university. The one where they all wear suits each day.

They should do interviews with some black kids at one of the decent schools they got around Atlanta. Kids that have always done well in school, and have been dealing with white teachers that expects nothing from them each year. 

Don’t need to go to the one charter in NY. White people love to see “inner-city black kids” in jackets and ties, sitting in a classroom, lined up in hallways. 

Cause America needs more of those charters. No, and there’s nothing wrong with good schools. America just wants more of those. Follow?

That school wouldn’t be on CNN if all the cats in that charter didn’t wear suits. And wore what they wore. What we wear. lol. i mean really doe.
