Let’s hope Spielberg gets it right about Lincoln. He didn’t give a damn about the slaves- he just wanted to reunite the union.
If Spielberg does, I will have so much respect for him.

Yeah, he was willing to do nothing on slavery as long as the union was preserved and he was as racist as most Americans were - certainly not an egalitarian.
